8.8/10 Excellent! (1,644 reviews)
The good: ample free parking, area felt safe, clean rooms, free very simple breakfast, rooms are spacious for price point. The needed improvements: rooms and hotel very dated, breakfast limited basically toast and cereal items, construction going on. If I were going to the redwoods again I would probably choose a different hotel. Maybe one further south, like Klamath or something. If you are staying in Crescent City there is a lighthouse that’s really fun to go check out, which my child had fun exploring! The city itself is very run down.
